As part of our Earth Day themed learning, we had our little Earth Hour this morning. Children of the Red Group went around the classrooms to turn off lights and fans. Everyone at each level worked happily without fans for a good 30 minutes (we didn’t go all the way to keep power off for 1.5 hours as we didn’t want to make the children too uncomfortable) and they all learned about how saving energy a little each day now will make a big difference in the near future.
